I choose and purchase premium ingredients for your meals. Produce is always examined for quality, and if an item does not appear fresh, I will substitute another ingredient. I shop around for organic and locally grown ingredients, which not only supports our local farmers, but insures that your food retains maximum nutrition, freshness, and flavor. I rarely use white flours or refined sugars, but will do so on occasion in my dessert selections. Of course, at your request, I can leave these ingredients out altogether, substituting whole wheat, spelt, barley malt, maple syrup, etc. Most importantly, animal ingredients are never used in my cooking, so not only will you be eating compassionately, but cholesterol-free! The Premium package plan includes an entrée with an appropriate side, usually a grain or vegetable dish. My side dishes generally complete a meal; that is, my “entrees” are the highlight of a plate, and are delicious and filling on their own, but they are rounded out by my chosen secondary dish, or side.
The Budget package plan includes entrée only and is an affordable choice for those who don’t mind tossing a salad, cooking a pot of rice, or picking up a fresh loaf of crusty bread on your way home from work. You choose up to 5 dishes per week, 4 servings each, packaged family-style. So if you are a single, you can choose 1 dish which will last you 4 days, 2 dishes which will last 8 days, and so on.
